Select this option to determine how the program should be updated. If Automatic Program Updates are allowed (the default) then scheduled updates will install all available program and database updates silently, without the need for user intervention. If you disable this option, if a major program component update is available then scheduled updates will display the Updater screen, so the user can decide whether to proceed with the update. If there is only a database update available then this will be downloaded and installed silently during a scheduled update, and will not be affected by this setting.

 

Note: when you run the Updater program manually, then available updates will be displayed but only downloaded and installed if you choose to do so.
